Beginning of The End

——————————–

Standing before the door of ‘THE END’

Oh, Dear Life, what will you crave?

A few more days,

To be together with old friends?

Or to love even your foes,

Embrace and heal their woes?

Would you bleed in your heart

To blur the border, you have built …

Among the colors and the minds

Among the races and the kinds

A few more nights

To be alone under the blanket of darkness?

To listen to the whispering breeze

Talk to the blinking starts

Dance with the singing creeks?

… All that you passed in haste

And never thought of having a taste

Of the fragrance of soul,

They offered you with their full bowl.

Would you still wish

A few more wretched moments

To mourn the loss, you had

To lament for the deceased

Or to feel sheer penitence

For all the deeds

That darkened the moments of others.

Oh, Dear Life

What final word would you murmur

To the path you have travelled so far.

What very word would you ring

As “The End” will offer you a new beginning.
